NEW BOOK ✦

A NEW BOOK about balance, sustainability, and flavor.

Most conversations about food are framed as all-or-nothing battles: meat lovers vs. plant purists, pleasure vs. health, tradition vs. the planet. Cut the Bull: At Least by Half offers a new path forward—where flavor, family recipes, and sustainability can live side by side.

Author Shalom Daniel shows readers how small, realistic shifts—like blending meat with mushrooms, legumes, or grains—can dramatically improve health outcomes, reduce environmental impact, and still deliver the juicy, satisfying meals we crave. Blended meat is the common-sense middle path we’ve been waiting for. It delivers the flavor and familiarity of real meat while cutting down on the health risks and environmental costs—without asking you to give up anything you love.

Whether you’re a die-hard carnivore, a committed vegetarian, or somewhere in between, Cut the Bull shows how one simple shift can change your health, protect the planet, and reshape the future of food.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Shalom Daniel is an entrepreneur, innovator, and sustainability advocate with deep experience in the global food industry. He began his career at Unilever, rising through sales, marketing, and culinary brand leadership before founding INNOBIZ, an innovation agency helping companies scale faster.

His journey with mushroom mycelium—first explored as a sustainable building material—sparked the creation of JOYN Foods and its flagship product line, 50CUT, a blended meat innovation now served across universities, hotels, restaurants, and stadiums.

Armed with an MBA, executive training from Harvard Business School, and a passion for sustainable solutions, Daniel believes that small, scalable changes—like blended meat—can transform how we eat, live, and care for the planet.
